Acer has unveiled the Aspire S3 Ultrabook with a new aspect of the S Series family at Computex 2013. Ultrabook has only 1.65 kilograms and the possibility of opening the cover up to 180 degrees. The laptop will be available starting next July from 599 euros.
The new Aspire S3 Ultrabook integrate some of the industry’s most advanced features in the design and innovation built into Aspire S7, according to the company. The S3 patented dual torque hinge will allow users to open the cover up to 180 degrees for sharing content, getting the “best experience” touch.
Thanks to the cooling technology Acer TwinAir, the Aspire S3 always remains cool to the touch, without sacrificing performance. The keyboard, which is sensitive to the light, is able to adjust the brightness of the ambient light available for a greater visual comfort in dark environments.
In addition, the new S3 surface is made of aluminum and features a bright white cover that gives it a polished mirror. Another feature of the new Aspire S3 Ultrabook is its lightweight size, with only 17.8 mm thick and 1.65 weight. Acer Aspire S3 will have features like Fast Resume, you can restart the session from sleep mode in just a second, a response time similar to that of the “tablets” and a resumption three times faster than a Ultrabook standard, says Acer.
In the field of entertainment, the Full HD 1080p display will allow you to display movies, photos and games with great clarity. Users can also share favorite digital content on the big screen wirelessly for better visual and audio quality through WiDi technology. Acer S3 will be available with a 1TB HDD, a capability that would save 250,000 MP3 songs or 150 FHD videos and 290,000 photos of 8-megapixel, lot of space for users to carry the essential entertainment to any party. The new Aspire S3 Ultrabook will go on sale in July from 599 euros.
